So, Happy August 1st!!
I am absolutely astonihed at how fast these past few months have been going by .. not to mention the summer. I've been so unmotivated to do anymore blogposts and update this thing in quite sometime. SO being that it is three a.m. and I am wide awake (thanks midnight Starbucks) I shall blog.
First things first, I wennt ' back to school' shopping with my little sister and Dad today, and I have to say that whatever it is about buying new pencils and notebooks that gets me, I like it! Since we're visiting for the weekend, I was in charge of picking out clothe for my sister, something I didn't mind doing until when asking her whatg she'd be interested in wearing he replied, "sweats".... In no way shape or form could we be biologically related.. I mean if I were told pick out whatever you like and meet me back in an hour, I'd have a field day, Nontheless we got some pretty middle school typical things, and I managed to convince her into letting me style an entire outfit for her! I consider it a success:)
On another note, in the midst of all the shopping, I had my first , of many conference calls for my tudy abroad trip to Milan, Italy this coming fall.. I got a chance to talk to all the girls, and start to put faces with names to start the whole process.. I'll be gone for about three and a half months in Milan, studying Fashion Retail Mngt and Marketing while wooping it up with some Italian stallions:) (i wish)
I can't wait to not only meet everyone, but enjoy this trip free from literally everything I am ued to back home!!!

100 outfits, 100 days
So I was searching through youtube recently and came across a channel completely dedicated to OOTD videos and the one-hundred day challenge!
Here's the deal-----> It's always a challenge for me to "shop my own closet" and refrain from buying new clothing items before wearing things that have been in my closet for ages. This challenge will require me to become creative and turn my closet into 100 fresh, trendy and seemingly new ensembles. Can I do it?? I'm not exactly sure, see I'm the type to sleep in that extra twenty minutes, put on makeup and head out the door with sweats on. I think this challenge will help me realize what I have, and how to style and create looks under circumstances- AND more importantly I can document my progress which will almost guarantee weekly updates of outfits!!
For me I'm going to include accessories in this as well. There are some things I find I never reach for or wear that I adore, but am too affraid to wear out of fear it will be damaged. Well this is the time, I'm, taking the bull by horns and becoming proactive. Afterall, A fashionista is only as good as the clothes in her closet.
Until next time,
Brittany

Someone call the Doctor..
You've seen them everywhere, but how do we wear them?
I adore the whole grunge-feminine look and more importanty love the revival of Doc Martens. I have a patent leather pair in black but have no clue how to wear them.. I mean I've worn them once, but felt like a weirdo. What do you think?
